How it works
Diclofenac Sodium
Mechanism:
Diclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), blocking prostaglandin synthesis — the core driver of inflammation, redness, and pain in skin trauma.
Why it's here:
Provides temporary relief of pain.

How it works
Diphenhydramine HCl
Mechanism:
Diphenhydramine is an H1 histamine receptor antagonist. It blocks histamine-induced itching and irritation by preventing receptor activation in skin nerve endings.
Why it's here:
Temporarily relieves itching.

How it works
Tocopherols & Tocotrienols
Mechanism:
These lipid-soluble antioxidants scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated by UV exposure, protecting cell membranes from oxidative breakdown.
Why it's here:
Antioxidant support that helps defend skin barrier against oxidative stress.

How it works
Methylene Blue
Mechanism:
Methylene blue acts as a mitochondrial electron carrier and redox cycler, reducing oxidative stress and preserving cellular energy under inflammatory conditions.
Why it's here:
A science-backed antioxidant that supports skin’s resilience under oxidative stress.

How it works
Coconut Oil
Mechanism:
Rich in medium-chain fatty acids (like lauric acid), coconut oil creates an occlusive barrier, slows transepidermal water loss, and has mild antimicrobial properties.
Why it's here:
Naturally locks in moisture and soothes dry, sun-exposed skin.
